I’m an attorney. I use facebook on a regular basis to gather information about opposing parties, locate defendants, or build a case against a defendant. (once caugth a defendant admitting that he fabricated an injury on facebook, not thinking I would find out). Anyone who uses facebook or social media is looney. You are exposing yourself to the entire world. Have at it, enjoy the axe murders and shady lawyers or PIs who make use of your stupidity.

Still got something to say…. Twitter and MySpace <– good facebook<— I hate you! In school, you cannot be the coolest and famous if you don't have a facebook. I know that, coz I'm not that person. Well… Facebook is not as “good” as it wants to look. Once I was against FB but one of my friends told me to create an account, so I tried it… There were the days when I spent hours on it but soon I understood that there were often no people (or just a few) to write to and I’m just wasting my time. I also remember days when I posted something and waited for the first “Like”…but soon I started to feel that something isn’t OK. I still have an account but I try to spend less time on it – when I feel the “need of FB” I rather watch some movie, read a book, go out or do something else.

Who cares if you have over 150 “friends” if you can’t remember when did you go to the coffeeshop(for example) and talk with someone face-to-face? Or do you think it is normal to accept a friend request to some completely stranger just because he’s a friend of your friend of your friend…?

I don’t understand people who even write their address or phone number on their wall. Don’t forget to write your bank account number, shoe number or date of your last menstruation because it’s so IN…

Be careful when you create an FB account…or better don’t create any.
