A Hendersonville, Tenn., woman has been arrested for allegedly violating a protective order by putting another woman on Facebook, court records show.


Shannon D. Jackson, 36, was arrested in September for the use of an option in the social networking site called “rummaging” in contact with a woman who had been ordered not to communicate with the (Nashville) Tennessean reported Monday.

The feature is only put to Facebook, according to the report. It is used to transmit a series of meanings, as if to say “hello”.

A description appears in the corner of the Facebook page, which notifies the user of a hare. Hendersonville police made copies of the page showing the hare.

An affidavit was filed in Sumner County General Sessions Court and Jackson was taken to the Sumner County Jail on $ 1,500 bond. She is scheduled to appear in court in Gallatin, Tennessee, October 28.
