General thinking is that Facebook with more than 900million users all over the world is very popular but the poll shows that only 51% American users are in favor of Facebook compare to 71% for Google, Apple and Microsoft.

On a question “As a Company, How do you feel Facebook is Valued”. 50% rated Facebook IPO are overvalued with 32% rated Fairly valued.

Facebook has been facing privacy issue since its beginning so when people are asked on privacy 59% say they have little or no faith in Facebook to protect their privacy.

Survey also mentioned that 54% Americans do not feel safe while purchasing good and services on facebook with only 8% feel safe in doing purchases of goods and using services like clothing or travel on facebook.

Last week Forbes published World Richest People for year 2009. According to the forbes report Last year the world had 1,125 billionaires. Today there are 793. How $1.4 trillion vanished.

Last year, Zuckerberg’s net worth, as noted by Forbes, was $1.5 billion. He lost at least $600 million. Now 25-Year old Mark Zuckerberg, who was the youngest in the world a year ago is not even a billionaire anymore.
As the first quarter of 2009 winds down, though, Facebook is in a surprising position, headed toward or surpassing 200 million registered users and driving more traffic to outside websites than the previously invincible Google. If Zuckerberg and company can’t figure out a way to make money leveraging numbers like that, the Facebook will join the 2012 list of colossal failures of Internet history.

He’s still fabulously wealthy, obviously, and clearly stands a chance of making it back onto the list. But his fortune is tied closely to Facebook’s valuation, and with the worldwide recession in effect, that valuation has only gone down. The company still relies on advertising revenue, which has been hit hard by the market collapse. Forbes hasn’t released a figure as to what they guess Zuckerberg’s actual worth might be.

Burger King has been known to be ahead of the game in regards to funny and unique marketing campaigns but this one is actually dead-on hilarious.

Burger King developed a Facebook application called “Whopper Sacrifice”, Taking its name from the fast food company’s well-known burger, gives any Facebook user the opportunity to get a coupon for a free Whopper, in exchange for “sacrificing” 10 friends, or removing them entirely from your friend list.

But beware. While Facebook lets you anonymously eliminate your “friends,” the Burger King application notifies them when you “sacrifice” them in your quest for free fast food. It will even display on your feed for all to see that you sacrificed your friendship with so-and-so for a free Whopper. And as they say on the Whopper Sacrifice Web site, it’s time to put those fair-weather Web friendships to the test.

According to the Whopper Sacrifice web site, more than 45092 (At Friday 09-01-2009: 11.30am local time) friends have been sacrificed — all for a (roughly) $2 Whopper.

The news of Burger King’s funky campaign comes just as Facebook announced that it has hit a milestone of 150 million users. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg noted in his blog yesterday that while the social networking site has 150 million users, nearly half of them use the network on a daily basis.
