Two weeks ago, Facebook stopped my account. I was diabled, No given reason, and all I do is talk with old friend and my family in the Philippines. so I think FACEBOOK sucks the big one.

im 15 years old and have over 950 “friends” on facebook.I think its pathetic and a waste of time. People on there are so fake. I understand that ‘hate’ is a strong word but… I hate people who like every page. I hate poeple who “love” their boyfriend after two days and feel the need to update people about it. I hate people who like/comment on everything. I hate people who use picnik to do bad editing jobs. I hate people who think its cool to tell the whole world that they’re drinking. I hate people who subtly write about others. I hate that everyone has a formspring, then wonders why they get hate. I hate people who post their numbers in every status. I hate people who update every second, this isn’t twitter. I hate people who won’t stop talking to you on chat, there’s the reason I’m always offline. Basically, I hate Facebook.

yes i have a facebook but i do agree, with some things because people have a choice though so thier is no need to make a website about hating another website cuz thats just jank and thier are FRIEND REQUESTS!!! heck yeah people do have alot of friends on face book but they can chooose thier friends or not. your probly just jelliouse because thier more prettier and more popular than u soo just give it a rest. also, people have a CHOICE FOR EVERY THING ON FACEBOOK AND MYSPACE IS JUST LIKE FACEBOOK SOOO YEAH <3

When I first started using facebook 4 years ago, I thought it was really cool. Now I hate it. A lot.

It really sucked when a really cool dude I knew removed me as a friend with no reason whatsoever, and yet that person still showed up on my live feed commenting on something my friend posted. And I’m so envious that my friend is very good friends with the cool guy, while the cool guy completely ignored my efforts to regain him as a friend.

That’s just my experience with Facebook, though I doubt anyone has ever had a similar experience.

Moreover, I have to keep using Facebook to communicate with some of my classmates for school-related stuff, which exposes me to the constant reminder of the cool dude I lost as a friend on Facebook.

I do agree with the narcissism bit in the article; people always talk about themselves on Facebook. But who’s to blame them? Their friends are so interested in them that talking about themselves can still be an interesting online conversation.

Agreed. I never liked facebook to begin with. I’m socially awkward, but I always make an effort to talk to people face to face. I want to know my friends, not let them become another statistic on some social networking site.

Anyhow, I find it ironic that there’s an option to “like” these blogs for facebook.
