Do you even know any of these people? Or are you just doing it for the sake of whoring yourself out to people? If you accept my friend request and I message you, not once, not twice, but THRICE within just about a week and you don’t respond AT ALL (while taking the time to “like” silly status updates and spamming random bullshit on your wall all day long) then this pretty much proves my point. Social networking is the worst form of, well, socializing. I live my life outside of the computer, having fun with friends. Not sitting alone in my room, hoping that really cute girl I’m stalking “liked” the poem I wrote her. Tell me, what have you accomplished with adding dozens of friends everyday? After my negative experience on Myspace, I decided I would never make a facebook. I hate social network sites. It seems like all the people that you know from high school that you tried so hard to get rid of start emerging from under their rock and try to be your friend. It's like, hey didn't I stop talking to you for a reason?? I also hate people that spend almost their entire day on myspace/facebook. I feel that these social network sites are contributing to the obesity problem in America. Instead of going outside and being active, people would rather chat and upload pics on their facebook. I'm old school, here's my email and my phone if you want to reach me. Personally, I'd rather go out and meet people face to face so I actually know they are who they are.. It amazes me how people lie on these sites. Especially these women who post pictures of themselves when they were 16 years old and 50lbs lighter. LOL!
